POSITION OVERVIEW:
SCHEDULE:
Cleaning occurs after all basketball games and events held at TBA (Food City Center). Most cleanings take around 3-4 hours but times can extend up to 5-6 hours for larger events and concerts. Basketball cleanings usually start around 10pm, and concerts start closer to 12am. THIS IS LATE NIGHT WORK AND OFTEN RUNS UNTIL 3AM.
During basketball season (October-February), employees can expect there to be a minimum of 2-3 events per week on varying days. A calendar of events will be provided to all employees during onboarding. Concerts and other events happen less frequently but throughout the entire year.
DUTIES:
Duties include picking up trash, sorting out recycling, sweeping and mopping all rows of fan seating areas. We are only responsible for cleaning the seating area and do not clean any restrooms or concourses.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Team members MUST be in good physical condition and able to walk up and down stairs while cleaning and mopping. This is a very physical job and not a good fit for anyone with health or agility issues.
- Team members MUST be able to work at a productive pace and follow supervisor directions.
- Team members MUST have reliable transportation and a working smart phone that will be used for clocking in and out.
- Team members MUST be reliable with consistent attendance and good communication skills.
- Team members MUST pass background checking. Anyone with theft or felony related charges on his or her background checks will not be permitted to work.
